ATNS Physicians Special Interest Group

The Physicians Special Interest Group (SIG) at the Association for the Treatment of Neuroplastic Symptoms supports physicians in expanding their understanding of the diagnosis and treatment of neuroplastic symptoms. Through peer consultation, collaborative learning, and community, members build clinical skills and connect with colleagues who share their commitment to this work.

Objectives

  • Consult and & Collaborate

Provide a place for physicians to present complex cases and hear experienced opinions. Encourage discussion about diagnostic uncertainty, patient communication, differential diagnosis, and interdisciplinary care.

  • Learn & Grow

Expand understanding of the pathophysiology, diagnosis, and treatment of neuroplastic symptoms through didactic training, case-based discussion, and shared experience. Support professional development with new research and practical tools, including pain neuroscience, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based mind-body approaches.

  • Connect

Build a global community among physicians working with neuroplastic symptoms so that none of us works in isolation.
