She is dedicated to expanding access to resources, support, and hope for individuals navigating chronic pain and mind‑body symptoms.

Lesley Nelson, MA, PCA
Professional Counselor Associate
Lesley Nelson is a Professional Counselor Associate in Oregon, working with people navigating the overlapping worlds of anxiety, OCD, and chronic pain. She is particularly interested in the ways chronic pain and anxiety can mirror one another, and how the nervous system can learn — and unlearn — these cycles.
Lesley's own four-year journey with chronic low back pain, sciatica, and anxiety led her to the work of Dr. John Sarno and to the science of neuroplastic pain. That experience deeply shaped how she understands her clients' symptoms — not as imagined, but as real, changeable expressions of a sensitized nervous system. Lesley is grateful to work with people who are curious about what their symptoms might be communicating and how healing can unfold through new patterns of awareness and response.
